Meeting Workspace
Inefficiently
planned meetings leave participants feeling as if they wasted their
time, and typically require additional follow-on meetings to clarify
or convey information that could have been presented in the first
meeting. By making sure all of the participants are clear about
the agenda of a meeting, their roles, items they should be prepared
to present, and others they should be ready to discuss, time is
saved, productivity increases, and the number of meetings required
to conduct business diminishes greatly.

MWS Component incorporates the functionality required to effectively
plan, execute, follow-up on, and reduce the number of meetings held
in your organization. Standard information such as time, date, location,
and attendees is easily entered during the meeting planning process.
Additionally, fields prompting objectives, agendas, and pre-meeting
action items are included to smooth the execution of the meeting.
Now everyone can be prepared to participate effectively in the meeting.
When the meeting information is set, the moderator can simply click
a link that will invite attendees to the meeting via an e-mail that
includes all of the pertinent information.
Once
received, authorized recipients can confirm or decline their attendance,
modify the agenda, location, add attachments, action items, and
invite other relevant resources to further streamline the meeting
planning process. Any changes made by these recipients will automatically
generate an email to the moderator, so information is always current.
Meeting
follow-up is typically more important than the meeting itself. To
make sure that information doesn't fall through the cracks, post-meeting
action items can be assigned directly in the MWS system. Since MWS
is an integrated part of the Enterprise Management Platform, all
of these items can be filtered up to management, meaning as the
status of these action items changes, management has full visibility
into tasks that are being completed effectively, and others that
may impede success of the meeting's objective.
